My Family

     I have been blessed with wonderful family.  I met my husband of 43 years on the dance floor when I was sixteen.  We will celebrate our 43rd anniversary in Russia in June.  Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that!  We've had anniversaries in Montana, South Dakota, and Maine, but Russia???  We danced together many years and up until four years ago, we were taking dance lessons and teaching dance.  That came to a screeching halt with the return on Multiple Sclerosis.

     Every parent's dream is to have healthy children, and we have three, two girls and a boy.  Now they are two women and a man!  Our two girls grew up to marry two good, Christian men who are wonderful husbands and fathers.  Each couple has two children, a boy and a girl.  Therefore, we have been again blessed with healthy grandchildren who are also intelligent, beautiful, creative, talented, ....I could go on and on.  Our daughters and sons-in law are rearing our grandchildren to love the Lord and honor him.  Our son hasn't married yet but is dating a precious young woman who just graduated from Vet school.  He is an intelligent, hard-working, ethical man.  We are honored to be their parents.

   I am also the youngest of six children and am very fortunate to live within an hour of my siblings and their children and within three hours of my husband's sister and brother, so I am surrounded by love and encouragement from our family. 

    One of my high school friends just let me know that about 20 of my high school classmates are coming to our little town to eat out with us.  Again, such emotional support!  I was moved to tears.
